MEET OUR INSTRUCTORS

  • MADELYN

    Madelyn has been teaching swim lessons for 8 years. She’s passionate about teaching and loves to spend time with the families she babysits for. Madelyn is patient, encouraging, and makes swim safety fun. Madelyn has 9 years of experience serving in children’s ministry at her church and 10 years of babysitting and nannying experience. Madelyn can’t wait to meet you and teach your child to swim!

  • EMILY

    Emily has been teaching swim lessons for 12 years and is passionate about teaching special needs children specifically. Emily has many years of experience working with children of all ages and abilities. Emily loves to bake and read in her free time!

  • MELISSA

    Melissa is a homeschool mom of 8 daughters. She has been a certified Red Cross lifeguard, taught swim lessons at Frontier Camp for many summers, and taught all her daughters! She grew up swimming in her family’s backyard. She loves teaching with RSA to further help kids to love swimming and parents how to help their child swim.

  • CLAIRE

    Claire has grown up swimming and has taught swim lessons for the last 4 summers. She has a heart for helping children learn to love the water and provide a space to learn safety skills during swim lessons. Claire serves in the children’s ministry at her church and in her free time she loves to paint and sew.

  • KAYLEIGH

    Kayleigh is excited about her second summer teaching swim lessons. Kayleigh loves getting to see students grow in their confidence and love for the water. She has a heart for all children and has spent many years coaching individuals with disabilities. When she is not teaching swim, she serves in the youth ministry at her church, loves being outside, and hanging out with her dog.

  • LOGAN

    Meet Logan! Logan loves to teach swim lessons, especially strokes! He enjoys playing soccer, frisbee golf, and rock climbing in his free time. He is very involved in his church and loves to serve there as well. He is so excited to work with your child.

  • KARISSA

    Karissa grew up in the pool and has been teaching swim lessons for years with Rebecca! She’s currently in occupational therapy school and loves to help kids of all ages engage and thrive in the water! If she’s not at the pool (or studying), you can probably find her reading or exploring Nashville.

  • MIRANDA

    Miranda is overjoyed to be getting to spend time helping kids learn such an important skill and loves to provide a fun and joyous experience for each child. She is very patient, full of energy, and understanding with kids with disabilities, as she is with her own two little siblings. Miranda has 7 years of experience working with children and has a passion for working with children with disabilities. In her free time you can find her listening to music or spending time with her friends and family.

  • CATE

    Cate has been swimming since she was three, starting on summer swim team and later competing on club teams for four years! She serves in the children’s ministry at her church and through Camp Kesem, and she loves working with kids. Cate is a sophomore Biomedical Sciences major who enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and taking care of her sweet pups, Honey and Bea!

  • ABBY

    Abby has been working with children for 10 years. She has babysitting experience with kids of all ages. She grew up doing childcare at church, leading VBS groups, and is currently still involved in children’s ministry. She loves to swim and is passionate about creating a fun environment to equip children with pool safety skills.

  • MAGGIE

    Maggie has been teaching swim lessons for 4 years. She loves creating core memories for her swimmers and enjoys making swimming lessons fun and supportive. When she is not teaching lessons, you can find Maggie leading high school girls at her church, going on spontaneous adventures with her friends, and playing with chickens!

  • HEATHER

    Heather is a math instructional coach and teacher. She has four children that have all learned to swim through Rebecca’s Swim Academy, and has now joined the team to help teach other children the ability to survive and thrive in water. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and baking.

  • RILEY

    Riley swam competitively for 10 years, has been teaching swim lessons for 6 years and lifeguarded for 4 years. Riley loves working with children of all ages and is incredibly talented with teaching strokes. Riley’s favorite season is summer and she thrives in the pool!
